Multi-tasking- MY GREATEST WEAKNESS

I cannot focus to finish up my work when Mike is talking to me, i'll type in wadever we're discussing. Sharks i hate it.. Now i have to cope with multi-tasking in my daily job routine... Keying in loan cases, opening accounts, cross-sell RPs, trying to break egg for new products, working on my re-works, working on my softskills, building pipelines and sales figures. . . ZzZzzzz. . . Sometimes it's really good to be the (ONE & ONLY) girl in the branch, things might be different then. I am stuck in a female working environment with only one male soul in the branch, he's getting all the auntie's attention & everyone is treating him like a superstar.. haha lucky boy!~

Apart from all the work related stress, i still have to cope with personal issues.

WEDDING!~

The last wedding i attended was Belin & Fuzi's ROM @ Orchard last December.. O.o It was a sweet one too!~ Fuzi gave a surprised speech to Belin, i remembered it was so touching i felt the goosebumps on my body~ Looking forward for their wedding tis Oct. =)

Last night, i attended Vic's wedding with MT0808 at Conrad Hotel.. Luve Weddings~ Weddings, it's always so joyous, sweet, loving, blissful... The food @ conrad is fantastic, Vernon mentioned that it is one of the award-winning place thingy. Cant really remember wad's the exact words, but i noe the FOOD IS REALLY GOOD.. lolx...

We had wine last night.... the poor girl sitting beside me was feeling unwell after a few glasses of wine. Rachel & i were quite worried tat she'll puked on the table~ hmmm, concluded that the tea doesnt help at all~

Back to blogging... wow... didnt blog for at least 5mths!

i finally graduated~ the graduation ceremony would be held in late August! i am looking forward to it very, very much. Going to rent the robe with Elaine, dunno the rest of the gers would wanna go together anot. Elaine suggested tat mayb we can schedule our studio shoot on the smae day so we can tk the photo together~ such a great idea! Can take with family, as well as friends who struggled with me through the 1.5yrs! I missed the study period days where we "camped" in school to mug for the final examinations, although those days are stressful but i am glad there's a group of buddies to go through it together with me.

II celebrated my birthday with my friends last last Saturday at ST JAMES. . . I wished for HAPPINESS this year. So dear hunks and babes, please shower me with lurve to mk me happy... hahahhaha~ Another year older, i must learn to control my emotions and to be more independent!

Wow. . . my mood lately is just like sg weather. . . been dark and gloomy. . .

Yet to recover from fever + vomit, was sick since wednesday. The doctor said it is due to the gastric thingy. . . Dunno wad is it actually, i dun remember the actual words the doctor said, coz i dun even remember how i managed to drag my feet downstairs to the clinic ALONE. . .

He told me i have to avoid oily food, salty food, gassy drinks (opps i was caught drinking sprite by the doc, no choice i was gg to puke & that's the only lemonade i saw on the shelves), milk, dairy products. Stick to plain diet for these few days... Well i did, but i am still not totally back to normal yet.

Hope i get well soon, festive season is just around the corner. . .

Okay another heavy topic on my mind, is about my sixth sense. . . Been "sensing" something weird lately, just hope it wasn't accurate at all. :)

Another 3 weeks to my BKK trip... Looked forward to the honeymoon trip (oppss. . . to him it is supposed to be a business trip) with Lucas Kwek. Our last trip was dated 8months back, to HK~ i love travelling, and i sure enjoyed it with my love one with me. . .

Going BKK with Lucas in January.

Flying in a month's time, 4th Jan-7th Jan. I'll missed Cat's birthday on the 6th. =( Girl, you better plan yr celebration with us in advanced. I dun wanna missed your 23rd Birthday~ [Ohmygosh, how time flies. . .]

Intend to booked a trip for this month de, but we are really very late. Alot of flights & places are already fully booked for this month~

Jeery took some photos (ahem, not some lah, is quite alot abt 130shots) for me last saturday, can't wait to see it! He told me have to wait till New Year for the CD of photos. New Year!!! That's very very long. LOL, so i requested it as a xmas gift instead.

32 days to a brand new year~

Looking back at 2007, i felt that i've done, experience & learnt much more stuff in year 2006 instead. But however, it had beeeeen a fruitful year in school, learning all the financial stuff that was once so unfamilar to me. . .

Yesterday, Cat told one of our colleague that we are very close frens for years... but that guy reply was that how could it be when we are so different.

hmmmm, different??? let me tink & summarize. . .

both of us are chatty what~ (but none of us can win ting, hahaha)
although sometimes she is quiet (erm, i have my quiet moments too!)
we both love to sing, shop, mahjong
we are narcissistic (always taking photos)
we hate to work
we love our bfs alot alot alot

Maybe our differences are:
1. i love to take long sleep or naps until late afternoon or evening.. but she jumped out of bed the first time she sleep until evening...
2. i am emotional, she is rational

I need a holiday badly, a overseas trip!!! I love travelling, exploring new places and the beauty of nature! How i wish i can turn back time, back to my poly days, i'll definitely try out for the position of cabin crew again. hahhaha. . . .

All pet owners, please read this!!

When I was a puppy, I entertained you with my antics and made you laugh. You called me your child, and despite a number of chewed shoes and a couple of murdered throw pillows, I became your best friend.

Whenever I was "bad," you'd shake your finger at me and ask "How could you?" -- but then you'd relent and roll me over for a bellyrub. My housebreaking took a little longer than expected, because you were terribly busy, but we worked on that together.

I remember those nights of nuzzling you in bed and listening to your confidences and secret dreams, and I believed that life could not be any more perfect. We went for long walks and runs in the park, car rides, stops for ice cream (I only got the cone because "ice cream is bad for dogs" you said), and I took long naps in the sun waiting for you to come home at the end of the day.

Gradually, you began spending more time at work and on your career, and more time searching for a human mate. I waited for you patiently, comforted you through heartbreaks and disappointments, never chided you about bad decisions, and romped with glee at your homecomings, and when you fell in love.

She, now your wife, is not a "dog person" -- still I welcomed her into our home, tried to show her affection, and obeyed her. I was happy because you were happy.

Then the human babies came along and I shared your excitement. I was fascinated by their pinkness, how they smelled, and I wanted to mother them, too. Only she and you worried that I might hurt them, and I spent most of my time banished to another room, or to a dog crate. Oh, how I wanted to love them, but I became a "prisoner of love."

As they began to grow, I became their friend. They clung to my fur and pulled themselves up on wobbly legs, poked fingers in my eyes, investigated my ears, and gave me kisses on my nose. I loved everything about them and their touch -- because your touch was now so infrequent -- and I would've defended them with my life if need be. I would sneak into their beds and listen to their worries and secret dreams, and together we waited for the sound of your car in the driveway.

There had been a time, when others asked you if you had a dog, that you produced a photo of me from your wallet and told them stories about me. These past few years, you just answered "yes" and changed the subject. I had gone from being "your dog" to "just a dog," and you resented every expenditure on my behalf.

Now, you have a new career opportunity in another city, and you and they will be moving to an apartment that does not allow pets. You've made the right decision for your "family," but there was a time when I was your only family.

I was excited about the car ride until we arrived at the animal shelter. It smelled of dogs and cats, of fear, of hopelessness. You filled out the paperwork and said "I know you will find a good home for her." They shrugged and gave you a pained look. They understand the realities facing a middle-aged dog, even one with "papers."

You had to pry your son's fingers loose from my collar as he screamed "No, Daddy! Please don't let them take my dog!" And I worried for him, and what lessons you had just taught him about friendship and loyalty, about love and responsibility, and about respect for all life.

You gave me a good-bye pat on the head, avoided my eyes, and politely refused to take my collar and leash with you. You had a deadline to meet and now I have one, too. After you left, the two nice ladies said you probably knew about your upcoming move months ago and made no attempt to find me another good home. They shook their heads and asked "How could you?"

They are as attentive to us here in the shelter as their busy schedules allow. They feed us, of course, but I lost my appetite days ago. At first, whenever anyone passed my pen, I rushed to the front, hoping it was you that you had changed your mind -- that this was all a bad dream... or I hoped it would at least be someone who cared, anyone who might save me.

When I realized I could not compete with the frolicking for attention of happy puppies, oblivious to their own fate, I retreated to a far corner and waited. I heard her footsteps as she came for me at the end of the day, and I padded along the aisle after her to a separate room.

A blissfully quiet room. She placed me on the table and rubbed my ears, and told me not to worry. My heart pounded in anticipation of what was to come, but there was also a sense of relief. The prisoner of love had run out of days. As is my nature, I was more concerned about her. The burden which she bears weighs heavily on her, and I know that, the same way I knew your every mood. She gently placed a tourniquet around my foreleg as a tear ran down her cheek. I licked her hand in the same way I used to comfort you so many years ago. She expertly slid the hypodermic needle into my vein. As I felt the sting and the cool liquid coursing through my body, I lay down sleepily, looked into her kind eyes and murmured "How could you?"

Perhaps because she understood my dog speak, she said "I'm so sorry." She hugged me, and hurriedly explained it was her job to make sure I went to a better place, where I wouldn't be ignored or abused or abandoned, or have to fend for myself -- a place of love and light so very different from this earthly place.

And with my last bit of energy, I tried to convey to her with a thump of my tail that my "How could you?" was not directed at her. It was directed at you, My Beloved Master, I was thinking of you. I will think of you and wait for you forever. May everyone in your life continue to show you so much loyalty.

My baking mishap

O.o i intend to give lucas a surprise when he is back from Indonesia. . . The surprise is to bake a bottle of cookies for him. I know i am a terrible cook, but i didnt noe i am a TERRIBLE baker too~

i tried to bake on thurs night, but i mixed too much butter into the mixture, it sort of melted into one whole big piece in the oven. I ran out of flour so couldnt add in more flour to the mixture. SO. . . Mission failed.

Fri, i bought the package of flour to add into the misture, this time i must sure the flour & the butter ratio was right. Trial & error for a few times, finally got it right~ BUT my cookies keep getting BURNT. . . demoralized. . . Luckily by 5am, i am amble to get a few quite nicely done pieces for him. . .

Friday

Celebrated our last day of lesson @ Boat Quay. Rab Bar was fully booked for that night, so we went to a new place, Blue Blazze. Erm, the sound system wasnt that fantastic there. . . So i wun really recommend that place. Absentee for the night: Jessie & Alex. . . The rest were all there.

Saturday

We had a steamboat session at elsie's place that evening. Erm, noticed that it was definitely one of the gatherings that we talk the least amt of stuff. . . Everytime if we have a gathering, we would talk non-stop, esp we seldom have the chance for meet up lately. We talk lesser is becoz most of the time we are attending to our BFs!! Based on Cat & my observations, we spent more time asking the one beside us, :"Dear, wad u wan to eat? you want more soup? do you wan more of this or that???" hahahhaha. . . .

After dinner, Suvin, Cat & Elvin came over to my place for mahjong~ O.o Lose money to mr kwek. . .

Had another session of mahjong with Alan & Fomei the next day at my place. Lose money again to the both of them~ diaoz. . .

Friday

Went to Marriott hotel for an interview session with its staff, for my project purpose. My whole body was still aching due to the PT job i did on tue & wed. Almost met with an accident on the way to Marriott, phew, lucky i was safe & sound.

My Risk Mgt result was out that afternoon, i didnt do well. :( sadden~ing. . .

Went Boat Quay again, to finish up the left-over liqour at Blue Blazze, then we head over to Rab Bar for wine. Too tired to join Elvin & Catherine to Dragonfly later that night. Slpt too late the night before, i was watching the new taiwanese drama by Angela Zhang- Romantic Princess. Highly Recommended!!!!! Very funny & i like the plot.

Went to Risk Management lecture tis morning. The girls did not come today, lonely. . . the guys always talk abt girls during break, awkard to discuss with them, if not i have to follow the girl tat they like to toilet again. hahahahhaha, i helped zen to stalk his "Xian Nu". Now gotta noe her her, so we no need to follow her to toilet le. . . During today's break, Eugene was concentrating on his Hua. . . (Correct mah, eugene??) Kelvin talking about his +5. So i talked about my Bom Bom lorz. . .

We head to Serene Centre for ice-cream. I had Strawberry Sobert & Very Berry ice-cream. . . (a treat from eugene) Two scoops for only $4, cheap & nice. . . The flavours there are very unique, got black forest/ teh talek, soursop, red bean etc. . .

While having our ice-cream, we discussed abotu golfing. . . . HEHE. . . gotta buy a pair of track shoes so i can go and try out at the golfing range soon. Eugene got extra set of club to lend me. Gotta ask mr kwek to go Queensway with me tis week or next week to get a pair.

i had my risk management test~ ARRRGGGGGGGHHHH . . tis is the first multiple choice test which we were given 10mins reading time. Felt the blood rushing up my neck, coz i got no confident to finish up the test lorz. haiz worried. . .

The sky was gloomy after the test, tink it is feeling sad for us as well. Head back to my place with Catherine, Eugene & Derick (our new kaki) for a game of mahjong. Hehe, lady luck was with me & derick that day. Though we only play one round, but it certaintly helps to destress & keep my mind away from the test~

Went Rab Bar to look for catherine & elvin later that night, will post up the photos when i am at home~ I like the red wine that they ordered. Will go for another bottle after my macro test next tuesday.

I went NATAS with Mr Kwek. Initially i tot of gg there to look look see see, however when we were there, mr kwek & i decided to look ard for Taipei or Beijing prices, if got good deals then we go if not then stay in sg~ After roaming, we decide on Taipei Free & Easy offered by 5stars or Jetabout agency. we ALMOST sign for a 6days 5nights package at $800plus, BUT mr kwek suddenly hesitated (coz he wanna change job & not sure whether will he get the job offer) and told me 6days too long, so not gg liaoz. HAIZ~ So he say if really wanna go overseas, then we shall go up to Genting~ See how it goes lor, i would still very much prefer a TPE trip during yr end. . .

Today i had my paper on ORGANISATION THEORY! i simply hate that module, took me days to study for the test. But, finally the test is over. RISK MGT this friday, another terror, but it is a MCQ test, so still alright ya~

This FRI, i need to sing, drink & merry~ It has been like months since i last went KTV with my classmates & catherine. We need to celebrate, so that i wun become (plain) JANE. hohohohoho, all wrk no play makes me a plain jane, this is wad Jon told me before~

Next week, i'll need to plan the following activities:

1. Mahjong
2. Swimming or Wild Wild Wet/Jurong Pool
3. St James

Must do at least one of the above, gotta plan with the girls~ IMust stop Elaine & Jessie from gaming and interact with the environment. -->> Girls you are not supposed to be a "Closed System", must learnt how to adapt to become a "Open System". . .. hohooho

Thursday

Today is RMIT annual graduation ceremony!!! Saw Senior in his graduation robe after the ceremonywhich ended late in the afternoon. He graduated with degree with distinction, that smart guy!! O.o how i wished for mine to come soon. I remembered asking mr kwek if hw would attend my graduation ceremony and he said YES.

Friday
Missed the Risk Management lesson that morning, i was very tired and couldnt drag myself out of the bed. I rembered msging Mr Kwek in the morning, then fall aslp after that, with the hp on my hands.

But i still went back to sch ard 4pm to get back my price theory textbook from the girls. Then head to King Albert's Mac with Cat & Jessie to chat and had my late brunch. Had a wonderful chat about life & weird people around us~

That night, Mr Kwek surprised me with a bowl of maggie mee, so touched. :) Thanks,dear. . .

Saturday

Went to Boat Quay on saturday night, White Bar, with Mr Kwek & his BMT friends. Ting was around that area too, so we did manage to catch up awhile at White Bar.... That girl told me she wanted to learn grooming, if she did nt manage to get the OCBC job. Next time she can help me to groom BomBom.

Elvin tag in my cbox & said i nv update my bloggie. . . Everytime when i try to create a new post, i tink very hard on wad to write, thwn i realised my life is in a monotonous stage. i've got nothing much to update!!!!

My routine on weekday: wake up at 9am, lesson at 10am (i am always late for class), self revision after class, either wait for Mr Kwek to finish his lesson or head home right away, eat, watch tv, sleep.

Sounds boring right, so i oso dunno wad can i blog about. LOL... Life after i stop wrking become a straight line. . .

It had been raining very often lately. . . GLOOMY. . . i love rainy days when i can slack my way at home. However, it had been raining alot during the morning, during my lessons. . . and eventually affect my study mood in the afternoon. the weather is so nice for a looooong lazzzzzzy nap!

Jus had my Price Theory lesson this morning, and it rained during the lesson. I am supposed to be revising for my upcoming test, but the weather sort of distracted me. and then, i am here blogging & msn-ing. . .

Mr Kwek told me he will be going to BKK to attend seminar for three days next week. So nice. . . I hasnt been travelling around much ever since i stopped wrk at BenQ. Tis is one of the badside being a full time student!

Attended Mich's wedding at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, right beside Zouk. The food there is yummy~ Then off we go to Zouk- Mambo Night. . . But i felt so out of place there, left within an hour. . . Home sweet home~

Woke up early for my Biz Finance lecture, i was so tired until until i did things in a daze. Accidentally cut my fingers with the shaving blade for brows, took it in a wrong direction & cutted my forehead soon after that. =(

Fri

I tot it was my last day at Morris!!! but my boss ask me to extend another day till SATURDAY!!! for monica & the money sake, i am here now~ Hohohoh. . . I am thinking of taking the extra cash for SPA or manicure/pedicure. Jus heard my colleague mentioning about this nail place at vivocity offers attractive deals for mani/pedi, shall check it out real soon!

I am excited for 17th August to come, it will be my offical farewell party cum my Boss's Birthday (ahem, initially he say no need to have any farewell, coz he will be expecting me to pop by their bonding sessions very often, hahahaha. . . ya, morris is a very close knitted company, bonding session is held frequently)

Mr Kwek came to pick me up from work, so it is a good time to pack all my umberallas home! When we are home, his mother asked, isit raining just now? :) hehe, jus tat i am lazy to tk back the umberallas after using it lahz. . .

Didn't update for soooooo long already~ This week is the fourth week of school already, so far the most interesting module is Macroeconomics 2, learning about IS-LM curve & the money market. :) Having a lil problem coping with my studies, as i need to juggle both sch & wrk. . . need to revise with Mr Kwek every saturday~ ahem, this is wad he said lahz, wanna revise every saturday, coz he'll stop his weekend job wef next month~

Test is coming up soon, the first paper would be on 13th August. . . PRICE THEORY, another cheem-ology subject. . .

I might be stopping wrk next friday, so i'll be able to have more time for my studies & revision, occassional partying & most importantly my beauty sleep :) but of coz, the payoff for such lifestyle is the $$$$$$$$$$$$$. . . .

3 days to my Birthday~

will be having a mini celebration with my classmates & friends at St James. . . O.o looking forward for the two days break on friday and saturday. I am so tired, really need a nice long slp on friday, preferably with a spa & medicure/pedicure session on friday, yet to book an appointment yet. . .

Last week was very happening & fun. . . Celebrated Elaine's birthday @ DBLO last wed, as well as the company dinner & KTV session on friday. . . these two activities totally drained all my energy out~ but is SUPERB FUN. . .

O.o met quite alot of weirdos at work lately. . . Yesterday was Morris was in a MAD-HOUSE condition. The no of customers waiting in the queue actually hit 40 on a weekday. . . The whole place was packed with impatient customers with little or no air-conditioning. I couldnt really breathe properly when i was standing at the front counter attending to a customer who wants to lodge a complain against the CSA (Customer Service Agent). The reason being that my csa did not flash enough smile to him. MY GOSH. . .

Today is as packed as yesterday. And, met one or two unreasonable customers who wanna talk to the P-I-C. Sometimes, i dun understand what's the point of looking for the person in-charge when they do not even want to listen to the solution given to them. Diaoz. . .

But overall, work is F.U.N, as usual.

My result is out on wednesday. . . I did better than wad i tot i would, i even dreamt that i'll failed my Econs & Statistics papers. . . I am looking forward for the brand new semester starting in July, which i would starting the Finance Modules- Business Finance & Risk Management.
AND, Mr Kwek would be joining me at SIM tis coming semester too~ He gotten into Pathway C for RMIT Business Management (Finance).

My holiday work is fun but tiring. . . Been working for the past 9 days without off, due to the PC Show lorz. . . TML is my off day, need to fully ultilize it & i am looking forward for a mahjong session. . . Mahjong ANYONE?

I went Rab Bar with my uni classmates yesterday night, followed by a fishing session with Mr Kwek until 4am. . . AND, i am stoning away right now. TIRED. . . I told my classmates i am craving for cocktail since wednesday, the day which we are supposed to go to St. James to celebrate "Doomsday". . . Craving for Medori Sour & i oso wanna try Lychee Martini & the Strawberry cocktail that Jessie keep tempting me with. . . Wed night, i reached home abt 3plus, after going out with Cat they all, i had problem sleeping, probably becoz i was waiting for mr kwek to call me. Then i turn and tossed all the way till 8am. I already forgotten when is the last time i saw the sun-rise before i sleep. . .

Jus finished my Law paper. . . WAH, i started writing the moment the paper begans, before i even finished the first question, my hand already start aching. . . It is really really tiring and alot alot alot of things to write. 3 hrs later, i only completed 4 whole questions, didnt have time to finished one last question. After the paper, all i wanted was a hand massage (desperately). . .

All thanks to the coffee this morning, now i couldnt even take a nice long nap to dilute the law materials that are spinning in my mind.

Next paper: Prices & Market on Friday. . . Hope i'll be able to finish all the questions this time. :)

Yah, did i write about my new resolution? To gain 3kg of weight by end of the year? Working hard towards my goal now. . . SobSob, over the study break i saw quite a no of people, including my fav lecturer from TP, all of them mentioned that i lost weight. And, my fav lecturer said i looked prettier back then... WAHHHH, sad. . . i MUST gain weight. . .

i catched the show "200 Pounds Beauty" on monday night, o.O nice show. It is simply hilarious and definitely a show that helps me to destress. . . The morale of the story is people are generally nicer to those who are good looking. . . Besides being hilarious, it has some touching parts too. . Can't believe Ling Ling fall asleep during the show, she muz be very tired. . . ^_^

I am getting pretty moody lately, with the stress from exams, exhaustion (physically and mentally) and the people around me. It seems that no matter how much rest i got, i still feel so tired. SOOO FAN LAHZ. . .

I went Dragonfly last night, it was pretty crowded.even though it was a weekday night. Nice break for me~ My next paper is on 2nd May, Law of investment. I am starting to rush through my revision now, trying hard not to slack, knowing that i have done terribly bad for the econs paper. I'll need to brush up on the rest of the modules.

Loooong time since i last blog. . .

I took a nice, long, good break before my exam. Enjoyed every min of my time eating, sleeping, nuaing, exploring, enjoying. . . And, I finally gotten my 7 little dwarfs. . . O.o they are so sweet, my favourite is still Dopey. . . Cat got it right at her first guess, i tink this is wad people always say "You Mo Qi" bah. . .

In every story there is climax and trough, i guess the short break is the climax of my story and the following is the trough of this chapter.

Right before my first paper, i had a quarrel with mr kwek. This was the first time i seen him so mad, and it is the the last time i want to c it happening again. Though this incident made me upset and stuff, but it somehow made me understand and learnt about some things in life. I am touched and grateful for the efforts of those who tried to cheer me up when i was down, even if it was just a simple sms.

FINALLY~ finishing up my law assignment~ and its 2am. . . apparently, i did not finished it off at the time i aimed to finished. But nvm, at least i am satisfied with the work that i have produced... The front part on the financial adviser act was TOUGH, really needs to concentrate to link up my thoughts. The second part was much easier, easily came up with 1600 words. Maybe Elsie was right, a long winded person like me will have no problem coming up with 3000 words for 2 eassays. . . But i really detest to do the piece on the Financial Adviser Act Section 6- Why do FA needs a licence to provide advisory services inb Singapore. . . Discuss and relate the legislation. Sianz. . .

Had my statistics paper today, oh man~ it is damnnnnnn tough!!! i just hope to get a pass for this test. . . I should have convince myself not to go ahead to sit for this paper since it is an optional test!!!~ HAIYO, tooo late to say that already.

Lucas is outstationed till the end of the week. So i had a mahjong session in the evening to DESTRESS myself. . . Wahhahaha, yay~ i am the winner of the night!!! Opportunity Cost between Love and Money

Assuming that

i. There are two person involved &
ii. Both are in a relationship
iii. Their character remains unchanged.

100% love = 0% money

All the time is devoted in the relationship, hence money is forfeited.

100% Money = 0% Love

Coz all the time is devoted on business/ establishing career.

Therefore, if an individual want more money, he must give up more love. If he decide that he wants more love, he must spend more time with it, hence lose chance to make money. This is illustrate by the concave curve in the graph. Love/Money relationship can move along any point of the PPF curve, and it illustrate the concept of opportunity cost- to recieve one unit more of love, you have to give up another unit of money, or vice versa.

Any point outside the curve indicates 100% Love + 100% Money. It is desirable but highly unattainable.

If the point falls inside the curve, it means not using its time efficiently in devoting to developing love or making money. Therefore it is not using its resources efficiently.

Busy week. . . I took up a tution assignment and started the first lesson today. My student is a very nice and sweet 13yrs old girl. Need to get another tution assignment soon, if not i need a perm part time job on weekend to sustain my expenses and my DEBT. . .

Went swimming with catherine, trendy & kenny on wednesday. . . It is not really swimming, is actually chatting in the water under the HOT sun. . . I've got sun burnt, oh no at this time. . . CNY is coming up next week, i dun wan to start peeling like a snake at tat time. Catch a show with David n his gf at cineleisure after that, the show by Leon Lai. Hmm forgotten wad's the title, but the show is not that nice. With so many nice show coming up (Jack neo's, Ghost Rider & cant rem wad's the other one) i wun actually recommend tis one. . .

I love my lecturers, they are simply fantastic. . .

My law of investment lecturer is a full time lawyer, he has been practising law for 16yrs. He got the kind of chrisma that will make u stop talking and paying all the attention on him. (another Dr. Anold Tan) Netherless, he is very articulate & quoted alot of examples to let us understand the world of investment more clearly.

Today, i just had the lecture on business stats. . .is a very dry subject with lotsa formula. . . However, the humourous lecturer made the topic on probablility interesting & easy to understand. He quoted the example on the upcoming Toto. . . First, he calculated the total sets of combinations for the 47 numbers. If each ticket is 50cents, it will cost us $4million dollars to buy all the combinations. However, with more than 4 winners, we will definitely incurred a lost etc. . . . At least the subject seems interesting now~

Econs test is coming up next friday. . . aiyoh, right before CNY eve.

i have heard this so many times since seconday sch days, but i just merely nod my head and agree.

But after my grandma pass away, my cousin diagnosed with illness and "Xu Wei Lun" tragic accident, i came across this phrase "live yr life to the fullest" at mindy's blog, this time it made me stop and reflect whether did i really live my life to the fullest? or least least am i happy?

I am sure i did not live my live to the fullest, neither am i happy at this phase of my life. . . Knowing the root of the problem, i guess i have to do something about it soon.

So fast tml is Feb already!!~~~ My RMIT lectures are ending tml. After tml all the lessons will be hold by local lecturers. . . Aiyoh, one month pass so quickly. My tests are coming up soon. . .

After my ah ma's wake last week, i cant seem to get enough of mahjong. . . Mahjong is a very intellectual game okay. . . hahahaha~ All my cousins & relatives are one of a kind. . . It has been a long time since i get to chat with most of them. Suddenly realised that all of them have grown up, i still thought they are in primary or lower sec, when they are already in upper secondary. . .
When asked about my age, i told them humbly that i am only 18. . . *laugh out loud* Tried to smoke it through but my plan failed. Kids nowadays have great memory, they say yrs ago, they remembered i told them that i am 18 during a CNY visit, so i reluctantly revealed my age to them. . . hahhahaha

My grandma passed away this morning. . .

I received my sister's sms when i was in lecture this morning. I was slightly taken aback at first, coz it happened too suddenly. When i read again, i cried. No mood to continue with the lesson anymore.

I remembered i went to visit her before Christmas, she asked me to go home early even though it was only 6plus in the evening. I was barely there for 5 mins. When i asked her how is she feeling, she say she wasnt feeling very well. . . Ya, she looked so skinny and so much weaker than the last time i dropped by her place, somewhere in October. The sight of her lying in her bed and seemed to be in pain, makes my heart ached. During our conversation, she spoke to me in Hokkien and i replied in mandarin, i dunno if she understood wad i was talking abt, but for me, i dun really understand all of the stuff she was saying to me. i can only catch certain points. . . And, that was the last time i saw her. . .

On my way to her place this afternoon, sadness overcome all of the other emotions & my tiredness. . I just couldnt stop the tears from filling my eyes, and i dun like this kind of feeling-the heartache of losing someone you loved. I cant wait for Lucas to be back tml night, at least there is someone i can hold on to and cry my heart out.

I feel so tired now. . . Jus came back from the wake, i guess i need some rest before a long day begin tml.

I hate it when i feel empty or emotional. . . ultimately, i'll become grouchy.

Grouchy Remedy is of coz KTV & talking to the 3 (erm . .) pretties la. . . Talking to them about the bothering issues or insecurities that made me breathless, makes my heart will feel so much lighter. Maybe becoz they will relate it back to their past experiences or just simply lending me a listening ear & bitch with me about it after i finish my story. Haha, thanks ladies~

I went to KTV with Ting just now, yesh just the both of us, back to our old hangout place @ Loyang.

She mentioned last time after the sleepless nights rushing all the projects, individual journals deadlines back in poly days, we are still able to club throughout the night after the final project submission. Actually i cant remember about the clubbing part, but I still can recall how the projects drained us out. . . After the mid sem tests, we pratically "live" in the computer lab. We sit in front of the PC in the lab whole day, then went home to continue on the individual portion. The lab will become a war site during the week of project submission as everyone (mostly the marketing students) is trying to do last min compilation, printing of reports and Appendices.

i have ended my work at BenQ, back to student life in SIM now. So happy to resume back to student life~ i'll work hard for my grades, and my future~ During my last day of work, someone emailed me tis:

" Lesson in Life: Either you study hard or find yrself a rich guy. . ." ya right, i choose the first one. hahaha~

When i go through the rest of the farewell emails, some of the wishes are so genuine that it touches my heart. :) i'll miss the people working with me, not too much on the job scope ya~ hahhaaa...

Today is the day we are leaving for Genting. We are supposed to leave SG around 9, but after the "waiting", we managed to move off at 10plus- 11. hahaa. . . i guess that's the problem when we are going up as one big group. I was too excited to sleep on the journey there, keep looking out the window and hope we can reached there faster. . .

We reached the bottom of the highlands ard 4am. Before we drove up to the First World hotel, we stopped at a place to pray. The view there was fantastic, you just need to lift yr head, you'll see alot alot of stars. . . Sooo nice~ Didnt managed to capture the view there, so wasted.

Since we cant check in so early hence we head to the casino first lor, wahahahahaha. . . yes, Lucas frens are Gambling Fanatics. . . After breakfast and more time at the casino looking at pple & the games, Lucas & i decided to take a walk ard Genting alone. I like the morning weather so breezy and cold. . . Initially we intend to head to the theme park for my ferris wheel ride, but the sun was hot and the place was packed with people. We decide to go back later in the evening. . .

Finally got to check into the hotel room at 12pm. . . Though i still have the butterfly in my stomach, but i feel like dying soon, almost 18hrs without sleep and plus the travelling distance, i looked terrible too~ We managed to take a 3 hrs short nap before the long day begins, since today is the XMAS Eve~!!!!! We are supposed to meet together and go for dinner and the meeting point is at. . . . THE CASINO~ hahahahaa. . . . In the end, instead of the buffet at Genting Hotel, we had Kenny Rogers for dinner, the food there is cheap but the service isnt really up to expectation. . .

NEXT, we went theme park. . . Woooo, i didnt regret going there in the evening coz it was so cooling & much lesser crowd compared to what we saw in the afternoon. We took more photos than spending than on the rides. . . hahaahha

We are supposed to wake up at 3am in the morning & meet David to go to the casino together, but i guess we are too tired till we missed the alarm. I woke up at 6:10am and waked Lucas up immediately. . . As planned, we had breakfast & went to the casino. . . AIYO, we lost $ lah, hahaha. . .Anyway we just spend a lil there for enjoyment, didnt really expect to win money back! is it the enjoyment that matters~

i have enjoyed myself during this trip. . . He is a joy to be with, bringing me alot of laughter & entertainment. And, he is so sweet too, reminded me of the times during the courtship. He suggest the idea of putting of putting some Genting memories into a bottle for our keeping. So touched. . .

TGIF. . . it's friday again. very very very very happpppppppy. . .

Long weekend ahead, xmas is finally here. And, Lucas has decided to go on the trip, so we are heading to Genting as planned. I was supposed to meet up with the girls tml afternoon for our gift exchange and xmas lunch. However, ting would be working on, hence we have to change it to a post-xmas dinner when i am back from Genting.

It has been raining quite heavily for the past few days, suddenly realised that i am in love with rainy days. ;)

Went to SIM for orientation on tuesday with Catherine, looked forward for the beginning of the semester in 2007. Hmm. . . Dunno wad life will become when sch starts, that's when i have no more fixed monthly income. (imagine. . . life without shopping, no more weekly indulgence in great food, no more frequent travelling. . . ) Nvm, but i will enjoy the student life again, i am sure. . . and i'll mk sure i'll save enough to go HK in June 07.

Work is busy esp at the end of the year, when you need to chase everyone for the invoices, ad copies & necessary materials to do the claim. (Not one, but at least about four different claims) ARRGGHHH. . . to make my life more tough, i need to chase all relevant materials from Indonesia. Great~ they are always sending over incomplete materials to me. =( then, made me look like an irritating woman, keep sending out emails & reminders on wad i want. Cant they just refer to the list and tick on it, so they wun missed out any necesssary documents.

and the ringzzzZzzzzzzzzz. . . is making my head spin. Yah, we are having firedrill at Gateway now. ARRGGHH, on a nice friday morning?

Disappointed, was my first reaction. . . My heart sank when i get to know that we might not going Genting this christmas anymore. I have been looking forward for this trip so much. . . My colleagues tried to cheer me up, but i just wasnt in the mood.

After some thoughts & thanks to the great weather, if Lucas isnt going to enjoy himself when he is there, no point going as well, i might be affected by him too. So i guess slim chances for me to go Genting tis xmas. =( But feeling sad is inevitable, becoz i didnt expect last min stuff to cropped up our trip again. sob sob. . .

How ley, with no back up plans, this xmas would be just like another boring monday. The idea of celebrating xmas in a cold place seem so far away. . .

Cant wait for 2006 to be over. I have already come up with my list of 2007/08 resolution, i will stay focus on my goal and determine to achieve it by end of 2008.

Looking back at year 2006, i felt that i have went through numberous joyous moments, got over some heart-breaking events, add-on some achievements into my portfolio, clearer view of wad i want to achieve in the next few years & knowing myself better.

Here is a summary of events which made my year a special one:

1. Trade Event in Jan- It was a major event for BenQ Singapore, Elisa, Lisa & i have put in alot of effort to make sure that this event is a successful one. Hence, had gain fruitful experience in the back-end of the event management

2. My first overseas trip to Taiwan- to reward myself for the amount of hard work put in for the trade event.

3. Soul mate?: I met someone who read me like a book. Even though we know each other for a short period and no longer keep in touch now, but i valued the comments that tis person had given me, as well as the wonderful memories created. Everything that happened seems too perfect, just like a dream. 海鸟 ;)

4. My first pet project- IT Show 2006, followed by PC Show & Comex 2006.

5. I met a special guy, Lucas. I picked up photoshop & swish becoz of him & also learn to appreciate soccer & fishing (which i thought i would nv ever like). In this relationship, i am able to judge myself better as a person as well as a partner. Well, i came to realised that in a relationship, besides love, u'll learn from each other. I learn alot of him & in this relationship. (Tis remind me of wad my soulmate had commented in one of our conversation 10 months ago. i didnt really understand wad he had meant then.)

6. I had Chicken pox in May. :(

7. Marked my 21st milestone on 6th July.

8. My second pet project- eDM in Oct 2006.

9. Enrolled in SIM (RMIT course & will start sch next yr) YAY~ a step towards my goal.

10. Still trying to figure out who is the mystery sender for the Snow Roses.

i met up with Elsie and Ting for dinner & did a lil shopping just now.. Happened to see Jia Hui, Doreen & Eugenia @ Sakae Sushi, hahaha.... So long nv see ting already, she is still as chatty but this short session is not enough for us to tell each other what had happened lately, only managed to fill up parts n pieces. . . Missed those days when we see each other almost everyday. . .

Today is the first day of SITEX show, BenQ did not participate in tis show. I went there this afternoon with my product manager. We went round the exhibition hall, but halfway we decide to go seperate ways. Saw quite a number of familiar faces and did some ctach up with them. . . i saw Kelvin there too, he joined prudential. This is the first time i saw him in specs & formal, so i didnt recognise him. (haha i am not giving excuses) He called out my name when i walked past him, so i stoped and wondered who is tis guy, so when he was asking me questions, i tried to recall who is tis guy... i gave up and decided to ask him his name.... ARRRRGGGHHHHH so ps.... KELVIN. . . .

I was browsing through the past yr photos in my lappie, it brought back alot of memories. . . My poly days, my 20th birthday, my first trip to BKK, Taipei, Bintan, CNY, River Taxi Ride during CNY Eve, sec sch gatherings. . . . .. etc. . .

i thought i will be able to conceal my emotions, but the sight of that idiot n his never-ending comments about me, made me so pissed. Even after i convince myself to look forward & no need to care about him, but his mocking attitude towards the stuff that i did and hsi doubts concerning my productivity are driving me up the walls.

I think i was too angry about the mocking look that he gave while boss was questioning me about the enews, i gave him a look and one of my colleague saw it. He asked me to stay positive, but i wasn't angry with boss questioning me about indepth details of the enews, i m just pissed with the way that idiot behave.

This morning, he insisted that i ought to let my manager know what had happened to the event even though i reminded him that Lisa is on MATERNITY LEAVE. He said no point hiding it from her, HELLO, i think i am talking to an alien or wad, i already mention she is on maternity leave, so wad if i tell her? She also cant do anything wad~ I have provided them with alternatives, but it was him who rejected my proposal. (Anyway she is in the loop of wad is happening, eventually when she reads her mail, she'll find out too! so i dun see HIS POINT of hiding anything, i am not in the wrong anyway~ )

Anyway, since he insisted that i SHOULD let Lisa know, so i called her to tell her everything. But, she didnt ans and replied me after i told her that Darren say she should know wads going on for the event since she was the one who initiate the project. Her reply, as expected, was: For wad? i also couldnt do anything. So wad if i am the one who initate the project, does that means anything goes wrong i must bear the responsiblity. After i explained to her wad's going on etc, she asked me sacarstically: Do i need to send an formal email to let him know about it?

Kao, that Idiot is trying to make everyone's life miserable. People on maternity leave need rest, moreover is not that we dun have any alternative. Does that means everything i do must report to Lisa as usual? Why not next time he got any marcom activities in mind, during this period, he just send an email to Lisa and wait for her reply. Make my life much easier.

Yuppie, Christmas Celebration at Genting this year.

Went fishing with Lucas, David & Simon on sunday. Think becoz of the rain, i fall sick on monday. Lucas acc me to the clinic at Senja that evening, and i was attend by a weird weird doctor. He is old with thick glasses, he resembles the kind of professor doing laboratory research with alot of test tubes in the room. No way i am going back to tat clinic if he is there.

It had been such a long time since i last blogged.

I'm going through a rough patch at work, things arent not going smoothly for me~ When things go wrong, people would try to use harsh words to pinpoint on yr incompetence. Someone commented "Our marcom is Weak". (Ahem, he is refering to me) Thanks, i have a girl's weakness but i have a woman's magnanimous. His words made me want to prove my ability even more. It is alright that others dun appreciate my efforts, but what makes me more disheartening is those whom u need the encouragement from also dun recognise your efforts.

Anyway, i dun wanna dwell on the upset stuff anymore. . . Wanna look forward for Xmas, Yr 2007 , Hong Kong trip as well as new opportunities.

Finally. . . it's thursday.

Lisa has just given birth to a baby girl on monday. So happy for her ;)

Yesterday, Lucas told me his colleague is also very into the show "Goong", under that guy influence, he decided to catch that on vcd with me. Hehe. . . Gonna watch that with him tonight after his jog. He asked me to go jogging with him, but i told him i'll walk the dog instead. I cant jog, i still remembered the horrible experience the last time i went jogging, had black-out, blurred vision & headache. Hmm, i still prefer swimming.

I'll be taking half day leave tml. . . Initially thought of going to sentosa, but i am so tired now, i think i rather go for a swim, followed by a nice long beauty sleep before i meet up with catherine they all at DBLO.

So sleeeeeeepy now, went back from a quick lunch to relax my mind before i proceed to clear all the stuff before my half day leave tml. yawn~

I finally finished my masterpiece for teddy on sunday and gave it to him last night. . . Hope he liked it. . .
