O.o i read about this article in a magazine on why men go on the rebound. . . As quoted from the article:

Men are not as brave as women, he is not going through post breakup healing rituals as you are. That would take bravery and a willingness to learn from mistakes and to take responsibility while not allowing yrself to be victimised.
That's not to say men will nv deal with those repercussions. It is just that his ego is so bruised that further pain is eschewed in favour of anaesthsia, which is what the new woman in his life is for now. Among other things, her presence signals to him tat he is still desirable. . .
